Big Chamber Celebration

Big celebration being planned for Friday, June 1 at 4:00 pm at the Elm Avenue Park, Delmar, NY.  The Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce is celebrating their 50th Anniversary of serving the community. The theme for the event is the 50's.  The event includes a classic car show, sock hop, awards presentation and cocktail hour.  Guests will dance to the music of Band of Gold, www.bogmusic.us.  There are still sponsorship opportunites available for this fun event.  For more information contact liz@bethlehemchamber.org.

Energize your marketing

How do you energize your marketing without spending a fortune?  First look at you, do you represent what you are selling? In my case, I am selling me and what I can do for a business. I make sure everything I do delivers that message to a potential client.  Does my business card represent me or someone else? I'm organized, straight-shooter and fun. My card is me.  I feel comfortable leaving my card with someone without giving them a twenty minute description of what I do.  My letterhead and note cards deliver the same message.  Changing your business card to reflect who you are can put a skip in your step.  You should be excited to hand out your cards and tell everyone who you are. Marketing is all about image and branding. Sometimes we forget how important our own brand is.  If you work for someone else, you still need something that sets you apart from everyone in the organization.  Maybe you always make sure you send a hand written note on your note cards. All you need is a plain card with your initial on the front.  You should include your business card but the reason they are doing business with your company is because of you.
